The Farm: A Bountiful "Harvest" of Art!
We are pleased to welcome back, by popular demand, “The Farm,” a show of works inspired by Pennsylvania’s agricultural roots. The show opens Friday, January 15, 2010 with a public reception from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
“We grow artists here at Studio B,” comments Gallery Director Susan Biebuyck. “This will be our second ‘harvest’ of agri-inspired art, with many artists coming from Berks County and beyond.”
Last year’s inaugural showing of “The Farm” was an overwhelming success, with several hundred guests in attendance. Winners included watercolorist Dave Larson, mixed media artist Daniel Gorman, and bronze sculptor Robert Barnes.
Entries in all media are expected. This year’s show will be juried by Suzanne Halstead, who is currently Director of Education and Public Programs at Historic Yellow Springs as well as the Board President for Pottstown Area Artists Guild. Prizes totalling $350 will be awarded and the artist exhibiting “Best in Show” is promised a featured spot in Studio B’s next Members’ Show.
The show will hang through February 9, 2010. Please visit studiobbb.org for more information.

P.S. Get a sneak preview of the show this weekend during our regular hours!
