Ever wondered how a museum ends up with its art and artifacts? Have you stopped to think that there could be some really cool stories behind it all?
Next Sunday, Nov. 15, Ron Roth, director of the Reading Publiic Museum, will be stopping by Studio B to reveal some of the mysteries behind the Museum's collection. How did the Museum acquire its three great works by Edgar Degas? Why did it CATScan its mummy and what art was found inside her? What are the mysteries of its 8th Century Mayan chocolate pot? Ron will share these stories and more with the Studio B audience as part of our Sunday Series.
All are invited for coffee and conversation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; Roth’s presentation will begin at 1:00 and end around 3:00. This is also a great time to catch a peek at the current show by F. Sands Brunner, known as "Boyertown's Rockwell." We hope to see you there!
